Many thanks to Ian Bradbury for sending in this photograph of his 1952 Austin A30 AS3 which was first registered in January 1953 Ian tells us "The A30 was the first mass produced car without a chassis (not even sub-frames). It was designed as a stressed skin structure where all the body panels contribute to the strength. I use the car on a daily basis as I do not believe in classic cars being shut away in museums."
